Established in 2015 as a merger of the John C. Lincoln Health Network and Scottsdale Healthcare, HonorHealth has quickly become one of the largest and most respected healthcare systems in Arizona. Through a network of over 3,400 physicians and multiple locations throughout the greater Phoenix area, HonorHealth is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care for a variety of health needs.
HonorHealth acquired a private Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) medical group thereby expanding their offering of specialty health services. The group’s office is located on the John C. Lincoln Medical Campus in north central Phoenix. HonorHealth has hired Launch PM to manage construction of the new space. The project presented unique challenges, such as the handling of expensive specialty medical equipment and the need to retrofit an existing medical office to suit the requirements of the ENT group.
After assessing HonorHealth’s needs, the Launch PM team started pre-project planning for the renovation that would transform the former medical office into the ENT group’s new space. We helped HonorHealth establish a schedule and budget for the project, which began with a minor demolition of the office’s interior. The renovation then involved several steps, including construction of new non-bearing interior partitions, new casework and finishes, and modifications to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The finished space includes a waiting room, staff offices, exam rooms, and a staff kitchen.
Throughout the project, Launch PM provided design and construction management oversight and worked with the contractors and other vendors to ensure that the new space would exceed expectations. We made sure that all equipment was installed properly so the practice would be ready to begin serving patients. Through the efforts of the construction team and Launch PM’s Project Management expertise, HonorHealth now has a comfortable, well-equipped ENT medical office to help fulfill the company’s mission of providing optimal care for patients.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) provides affordable, high-quality healthcare for communities throughout the Phoenix area. With a professional, bilingual staff, NOAH focuses on helping patients achieve optimal health while respecting their diverse needs and cultures. The organization’s services range from primary care to speech and physical therapy to chronic disease management
The NOAH organization recently decided to relocate its Palomino Health Center to a new, larger, state-of-the-art facility in North Phoenix in order to more effectively serve the needs of patients. Services provided at this location include family medicine, behavioral health, dental care, community resource enrollment assistance, and a QuickCare walk-in clinic.
Faced with the need to transform a gray shell space into a general medical office, NOAH hired Launch PM to manage the build-out of the new location and the office move. One unique challenge presented by this project was the handling of costly medical equipment.
With over 25 years of Project Management experience, the Launch PM team is adept at working with medical groups—as well as businesses in several other industries—to ensure that their commercial moves and build-outs are completed seamlessly. We began the process of creating a new space for the NOAH Palomino Health Center by assessing the organization’s needs and goals. As part of pre-project
planning, we also helped NOAH establish a schedule and budget. The many steps in the project included developing architectural plans for the space and installing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Structural work included the installation of new curbs on the roof to support mechanical units.
Throughout the project, Launch PM provided services such as permitting coordination, design and construction management, quality control, and more. As with any of our other projects, our goal was to ensure that the new space met the client’s expectations and was completed on time and within budget. When construction was complete, we assisted the NOAH Palomino Health Center team with moving their equipment, furniture, and supplies and managed the installation of these items at the new location.
NOAH Palomino Health Center’s new space is well-equipped with medical office essentials like a waiting room, exam and treatment rooms, staff offices, and a meeting room. In this comfortable and modern space, the NOAH organization will be able to continue to fulfill its mission of providing accessible, reliable care for patients in need.

Stratus Technologies fulfills an important mission: keeping business critical applications running without any unplanned interruptions. From small and medium- sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies, clients around the world rely on Stratus to deliver continuous technological availability through simple solutions. Although Stratus is headquartered in Massachusetts, the company has had offices in Phoenix for over 25 years.
In order to improve efficiency and reduce rent expenses, Stratus was seeking to downsize its Phoenix office spaces and data center. As the company moved to a new location and renovated the space to accommodate its needs, one of the most important goals was minimizing disruptions in operations—given that Stratus has built a stellar reputation based on its ability to provide nonstop technological support. Specifically, the many pieces of expensive equipment in Stratus’s data center had to be moved quickly and efficiently, at a time scheduled to have the least possible impact on operations.
The process of moving Stratus’s Phoenix offices and modifying the new space to properly accommodate the company’s equipment and employees involved numerous steps and details to consider. With over 25 years of Project Management experience, the Launch PM team offered the insight and expertise needed to successfully complete the move and tenant improvements.
Renovations of the new office included demolishing existing partitions, installing new finishes, repairing the existing ceiling grid and tiles in order to suit the new layout, rerouting and re-circuiting lighting, and adding a new generator pad.
As the contractors worked hard to ensure that these improvements were completed properly, the LaunchPM team provided oversight for the design and construction processes. We managed scheduling, coordinated with the landlords, and worked with vendors—such as the General Contractor, architects, and interior designers—in an effort to keep the project running on time and within budget.
Knowing that Stratus’s data center is integral to the company’s operations, we paid particularly close attention to this part of the project. Before setting up the new data center, the old one had to be demolished and some of the equipment had to be sent cross-country to the Stratus headquarters. In the new space, certain cables needed to be brought up through the building, and a backup generator added. Our team ensured these steps were taken accurately and efficiently so that the Stratus employees were able to return to work as soon as possible.
With the help of Launch PM and the vendors who worked on the project, Stratus was able to reduce the square footage of its data center by more than half—a change that will yield significant savings in rent and related expenses. The new office spaces have a vibrant, modern design that will provide a comfortable work environment for employees and facilitate productivity as Stratus continues to deliver reliable support for clients.

Vemma is a nutritional company whose core mission is to enhance health through supplementation. The client had sold their existing facility and had to be out of their facility by April 1, 2014. The real estate process took longer than they anticipated and therefore put them in a critical path for build out. Launch PM assembled a team that could quickly engage in the design and construction process to meet the client’s multi-phase occupancy requirement. The client had to relocate a 120-person call center immediately, and then the balance of their staff by March 15, 2014. The project had multiple components including adding exterior windows and doors, extensive demolition of previous tenant, recording studio, extensive audio visual need and high-level finish requirements. The Launch PM team managed every aspect of the project including design, construction, AV, data cabling, security, FF&E, branding/signage, art and move management.
Beth and her team delivered the first 11,000 sf within 2 months to elevate the client’s rapid call center growth. They then completed the second 40,780 sf phase within 6 months, completing the project two weeks earlier than scheduled and within budget.

OrthoArizona, Mezona Orthopedic are leaders in the field of Orthopedics. Based in the East Valley, the practice was established in the mid-1960s and their board-certified and board-eligible orthopedic physicians have provided care to multi-generations of families.
They are known for combining leading-edge technology with compassionate care. In 2007, the practice locations consolidated to one state-of-art clinic, with EMR (Electronic Medical Records), digital x-rays, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and their own physical therapy department. As a rapidly growing practice, OrthoArizona hired Launch to facilitate the build out of Phase I & II of their 11,731 sf. The project consisted of a full X-ray lab, patient exam rooms, Physical Therapy, cast room, and offices.
Beth was hired to provide full project management services including extensive coordination with specialty owner vendors or medical equipment. OrthoArizona had a critical deadline to open Phase I by August 1, 2013 and Phase 2 by August 1, 2014. We provided leadership in the overall design and construction process to facilitate this schedule. We provided a proactive approach and pre-planning to meet with the city of Gilbert and understand our permit options to minimize impact on the schedule. We provided value options analysis on flooring and finishes to expedite the schedule. Based on the overall allowance provided by the Landlord, we established an overall project budget to manage costs and immediately communicate overall exposure on the project. Both phases were delivered on time and on budget.
